Ingredients
Equipment
- 1 Baking Dish I use a 12" Quiche Dish for this recipe. It's oven safe and has a lid for storing the leftovers. If you have any.
- 1 Large Mixing Bowl Large mixing bowl for combining ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 8 Ounce Packages of Cream Cheese (softened) I prefer Dutch Farms or Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise I use Hellmann's, Kewpie's or Duke's Mayo
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan and/or Romano Cheeses I buy a blended bag of Parmesan & Romano cheeses.
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic (minced) Garlic powder or jarred minced garlic can be used as a substitute, but the taste is week with the jarred garlic in my opinion.
- 1 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 14 Ounce Canned Artichoke Hearts (thawed and chopped) I find Reese's and Vigo brand canned artichokes taste better and have softer stems than store brands/generics.
- 10 Oz Package of Frozen Spinach I often use fresh spinach. A 10 Oz package of frozen spinach is equivalent to approximately 1 pound of fresh spinach.
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine cream cheese, mayo, cheeses, garlic, seasonings in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Gently fold in artichokes and spinach.
- You may lightly grease the baking dish (Optional - I do not grease my dish)
- Transfer dip mixture to the oven safe baking dish. Spread the mixture evenly in the dish. (Wipe the edges of your dish prior to baking for aesthetics)
- Bake in the middle shelf of the preheated oven until lightly brown and bubbling. Depending on the size and depth of your dish this can take 30 to 40 minutes.
- Let dish cool slightly and serve. This dip can be served with crackers, tortilla chips, or pita chips.
